New Voices Citizen Fellowship (NVCF) 2025

The New Voices Citizen Fellowship (NVCF) is a citizen-participatory programme of the Raising New Voices Initiative geared towards encouraging and supporting citizens in the grassroots communities advocating for local community issues. The Fellowship will commence in March and end in November, 2025.

The Fellowship aims to cultivate a pool of young citizens equipped with the skills to actively engage in politics and pursue political office. Participants will receive comprehensive training to understand the political landscape, develop leadership abilities, and effectively advocate for change. In addition to preparing for political roles, the program focuses on empowering fellows to demand good governance through democratic channels in their communities, state, and country. This initiative fosters a new generation of leaders who are not only politically active but also committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and positive change in governance.

Eligibility for Citizen Fellowship

• Applicant must be living in any of the Local Governments in Osun state;
• Must be between 18 to 30 years;
• Must be interested in Politics and passionate about leadership and social issues;
• Girls and People with Disabilities (PWDs) are highly encouraged to apply.
